By Air - Jammu Airport is the closest one, about 50 km from Katra. From there, it is a quick taxi or bus ride.

Helicopter Services - If walking the full stretch is not something you are up for, the helicopter service is worth booking. From Katra to straight Sanjichhat, just 2.5 km short of the Bhawan. 

By Train - Katra now has its own railway station with direct trains running from Delhi and a few other major cities. There is no need to change trains at Jammu anymore. Katra railway station to Vaishno Devi is 8.6 km. 

By Road - Katra is on NH44, and buses and private cabs run regularly from Jammu, Delhi and other nearby towns.
